Our 2009 events celebrated the bicentennial of Darwin's birthday and the 150th anniversary of On the Origin of Species!

Our 2009 Essay Contest winner was Cameron Landers, a sophmore in the College of Arts & Sciences. To read his essay, click here!

Thanks to our speakers, James Costa (Western Carolina University) and Todd Freeberg (UTK Psychology). We also thank Gordon Burghardt (UTK Psychology), our Darwin impersonator, and the many volunteers who contributed time and energy in coordination of all events.

Please also note that James Costa's book, The Annotated Origin, is available for pre-order!

We also extend a very special thanks to the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UTK, our sponsor for the 2009 events!
